THE SWEDISH PLATFORM FOR COLOMBIA

With its work, the Colombia Group wants to strengthen the Swedish and international network cooperation that exists to spread knowledge about the situation of human rights, peace and security in Colombia.

The work also aims to create opinion in favour of an active Swedish commitment that contributes to a sustainable and just peace in Colombia.

In addition, the group will work for better coordination between Swedish actors in terms of development cooperation, peace, human rights, gender equality and democracy.

CONCORD SWEDEN

The CONCORD Sweden platform brings together 81 civil society organisations.

CONCORD works for a fair and sustainable world by influencing Swedish and EU development and foreign policy. Through a continuous dialogue and by forming opinions, CONCORD wants to influence politicians so that they formulate policies that make the world a better place.

CONCORD’s work is shaped by the needs and priorities of its member organisations. They also work to strengthen members’ knowledge, create forms of joint learning and increase the possibility of jointly influencing.

FORUMCIV

ForumCiv is Sweden’s largest civil society platform with over 200 members. ForumCiv is an aid organisation with offices in six countries and works with local organisations in 70 countries. Small and large organisations contribute to creating a strong voice for the platform.

ForumCiv promotes and defends human rights, democracy and promotes an active civil society. The platform works with opinion and advocacy work, capacity development, dissemination of project support and supports and implements development projects.

MR-NÄTVERKET

The Human Rights Network consists of Swedish civil society organisations that work to promote the safeguarding of human rights in Sweden.

The network gathers knowledge, shares experiences and collaborates on advocacy work to promote, scrutinise and contribute to the implementation of human rights in Sweden.

The network contributes to increased knowledge of the UN’s work on human rights and has ongoing contacts with actors who work for and have a role in the defence of human rights.

The network is convened by the MR Fund.

OSSE-NÄTVERKET

OSSE-NÄTVERKET

OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe)
is the world’s largest regional organisation for security and cooperation with 57 participating States.

The Swedish OSCE network, which consists of a number of voluntary organisations and individual members, organises meetings and seminars to deepen knowledge of the OSCE and increase interest in OSCE ideas. The network initiates meetings with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the officials responsible for shaping Sweden’s actions in the OSCE. The network also meets the Swedish members of parliament who are members of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, OSCE-PA, as well as people with practical experience of OSCE field activities.

SVERIGES KVINNOORGANISATIONER | THE SWEDISH WOMEN’S LOBBY

THE SWEDISH WOMEN’S LOBBY

The Swidish Womens Lobby is an umbrella organisation for the Swedish women’s movement. It brings together 50 associations and organisations and represents over 130,000 women and girls.

The network works for the liberation of women and girls, full human rights and an equal society. The organisation’s activities are based on a feminist foundation and on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and Sweden’s gender equality policy goals.

Föreningen Solidaritetshuset is a non-profit, politically and religiously independent organisation whose purpose is to promote the economic interests of its members by providing appropriate premises and creating a vibrant and open meeting place.

2250-NÄTVERKET

The 2250 Network works to implement UN Security Council Resolution 2250 on Youth Peace and Security. The resolution was adopted in 2015 and calls for the inclusion of young people in decision-making at local, regional, national and international levels.

The network brings together different organisations working on UNSCR 2250 to exchange knowledge and experience.
