International Girl’s Day

SoME Gavobevis 2023

5 October 2015

On October 11 it is time for the International Girl’s Day, a day instituted by the United Nations to pay attention to the rights of girls and their particularly vulnerable situation. Around the world, including in Sweden, girls are exposed to double discrimination; partly because of their gender, partly because they are young. This affects the girls quality of life and the opportunities they have.

Together with the Girl Child Platform, we are working to change this. Therefore, we invite you all to acknowledge the International Women’s Day with us! We guarantee a day filled with inspiration and motivation to combat discrimination and give girls and boys the same rights and opportunities in life. For more information, visit the Girl Child Platform facebook page; www.facebook.com/flickaplattformen
