Operation 1325 Sent Recommendations to the UN

The Stockholm International Conference on 1325 “10 years with 1325 – What now?” sent recommendations to the UN, to the member states and to civil society.

Among the key recommendations to the UN is to appoint a Special Representative of the Secretary General on women’s participation in peace processes as well as to include at least 40 percent of women in all peace processes, especially in peace negotiations teams.
