Eva Zetterberg, new president for Operation 1325

Yesterday Eva Zetterberg was elected president of Operation 1325. Eva has a long history and involvement in politics, was Member of Parliament in 1991-2002, the Second Vice-President in 1998-2002 and served as Sweden’s ambassador to Chile, Peru and Nicaragua from 2003 to 2014. Amongst Eva’s international duties can be noted head of the EU electoral observers in Peru, electoral observer in Russia, South Africa and Guatemala and head of delegation of European MPs and NGO representatives invited by Caritas to Colombia.
