Essays about resolution 1325

SoME Gavobevis 2023

12 June 2015

During the spring, Operation 1325 has organized essay lunches where students who write academic papers related to 1325 meet the staff and interns from Operation 1325 in round-table talks. We aim to publish credited papers discussing issues related to the resolution on the website in order to spread knowledge and academic analysis of women, peace and security.

This essay is written by Fanny Zedenius and is about women’s bodies as battleground and sexual violence in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. If you would like to download it or read it here, open the link at the top right corner on this page.
