Introduction for the new board trainees

Eleven happy board trainees were warmly welcomed at an introduction meeting at our office on Monday the 12th of February. Annika and our interns Zahra and Maja arranged group exercises where the whole group got to know each other and discussed on women, peace and security. The meeting ended with nice and strong words from our own dedicated board trainees:

We strive for a justified, peaceful and including world. We want to change the existing power structures which are based on oppressive gender roles. Women should be seen as the obvious activists that we are, in all parts of society. We want to spread knowledge and dedication to inspire everyone to work more on an equal existence. We, as young females, want to embrace and lift each other in a forum where we together strive for women’s participation in peace processes.

Operation 1325 wants to give a massive thanks to our new broad trainees and we look forward to an exciting spring where we together work for women, peace and security.
