Operation 1325 launches the new publication ”You make the difference”. It is a toolkit for those who work with international security in institutions, civil society and authorities. The government of Sweden has launched its feminist foreign policy. W+åe work with women, peace and security, in Sweden and internationally, for many years already.

“You make the difference” provides practical advice on how to increase political participation of women, strengthen women’s rights and raise awareness about the situation of women and girls in conflict- and post-conflict areas. The toolkit is a practical guide containing suggestions and information which are drawn from both Iraqi women’s organisations as well as officials in international missions.

“You make the difference” is available in English and in Arabic,
